Dr Mir Malkani is a leading FUE practitioner, having been one of the first three UK surgeons to perform FUE. An FUE specialist since 2004, Dr Malkini now brings his knowledge, skill, and expertise to the US market, with more than 20 years of experience and more than 7,000 procedures to his name.
Dr Malkani achieved Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons in 1997, before going on to work in hair transplant surgery around the world. His surgical experience spans trauma surgery, general surgery, and plastic surgery, as well as hair transplant surgery. Dr Malkani has worked as a lead surgeon at the Wimpole Clinic since 2013, with his own hair clinic merging with Wimpole in 2019.
In addition to standard scalp FUE hair transplants, Dr Malkani has become a leading practitioner in body hair transplantation. These procedures are invaluable for patients with limited scalp donor hair. He has also been recognized for his industry-low graft transection rates (less than 2%), ensuring patients can make the most of their extracted grafts.
Dr Mir Malkani is a full member of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery, and has many internationally recognized qualifications (including MBBS and FRCS).
